マタイによる福音書14:22-33

私たちがイエス・キリストを信じるようになったのは、
自分の力、善、努力で得たものではありません。
聖霊様が、私たちの心にみ言葉を通して動きかけてくださると、
心に信仰が生まれます。
信仰とは一言で、純粋な神のプレゼントであります。
しかし聖書は信仰について、
薄い信仰もありますし立派な信仰もあると書いてあります。
神様からいただいた同じ信仰が、
なぜ人によって薄い信仰を持っている人と、
立派な信仰を持っている人がいるのでしょうか。

薄い信仰とは、
疑う信仰：み言葉を完全に信頼することができない
「自分の考え・自分の理性的な思い、体験などを加えて人文なりに作った」
信仰。

立派な信仰とは
イエス・キリストが教えたみ言葉通りに信じる純粋な信仰。

み言葉を純粋に受け入れることができない時、信仰が薄くなります。
主は私たちの信仰が、薄い信仰から立派な信仰に成長することを望んでおられます。
立派な信仰の人として生きるとその結果は、
不可能なものが可能になります。
この世の様々な波が押し寄せますがその時、
私たちはみ言葉の内容をそのまま純粋に信じる信仰の足で、
前に進まなければなりません。
これが立派な信仰です。
薄い信仰は疑いがある信仰と先ほど伝えましたが、
疑いは可能を不可能に変えます。
一瞬でも疑いの心が入らないように、
信仰の心をいつも守ることが大切です。
