受難主日説教　
マタイによる福音書21:1-11

イエス様がこの世に来られて、
地上で最後の過越際の為にエルサレムに上られた日を
棕櫚主日、または苦難主日・受難主日と呼ばれています。
棕櫚主日と言われる由来は、イエス様が仔ロバに乗って
エルサレムの都に入られたとき、
人々は棕櫚（ナツメヤシ）の木の枝を切って道に敷いたので、
そう呼ばれるようになりました。

イエス・キリストがエルサレムに上られたのは過越際の供え物として、
ご自身の命を捧げられる為でした。
それは御父なる神様のご計画でありました。
そしてイエス・キリストをメシヤとして信じ、
受け入れる全ての民に、
霊的な意味で永遠のエルサレム、神の御国に導くためでした。
イエス様一行が、エルサレムに近いベトファゲという所に来た時、
弟子達に仔ロバを引いてくるようにお命じになった事を通して、
イエス・キリストは全ての万物の主、
主権者である事を弟子達と民衆に宣布されました。
また、平和の主であることを宣布されました。
平和の主、イエス・キリストは自分の民に仕える為にこの世に来られました。
全ての者からホサナ、いと高きところにホサナと栄光を受けられました。
ホサナ私達の救い主に賛美を捧げましょう。
賛美を通して、主に栄光を捧げましょう。
